Paul Straub

Paul Straub focuses on energy technology investments for CCV. He is on the Boards of Alphabet Energy, Blue Pillar, Clean Power Finance, and Project Frog.  He is a board observer at EcoFactor and Adura Technologies and was previously a board observer at Property Bridge (acquired by MGI), Cyanea (acquired by IBM), and Lefora/Meetro (acquired).

Prior to Claremont Creek, Paul’s worked for and invested in technology companies while an investor at Information Technology Ventures, Infinity Capital, VERITAS Software, and Red Hat Software. Paul began his career in investment banking at Montgomery Securities and subsequently joined Thomas Weisel Partners at the firm’s inception.

Paul has an MBA from Duke University and a BS from the University of Virginia.
